Capcom and Pony Canyon celebrate the arrival of SFII' with an official soundtrack CD that features all 12 of the game's BGMs, remixed, but with goddamn vocals ('Nessho' means 'sing').
As SFII items go, this is a real collector's item. But be warned: content-wise, this is really embarrassing stuff.

The content is a lot more bearable without the awful vocals, but it still remains a depressing example of how low musical standards can get in Japan.

Pony Canyon's onslaught of SFII' merchandise continues with another 12-track orgy of Z-grade synth-pop drivel.
A collector's item for sure, but as far as the actual content goes, the people responsible for this should be immediately quarantined and sterilized.

Who would've thought that the PC Engine was capable of such a good version of SFII'?
Everything is here: good visuals, perfect playability, and all 4 bosses selectablethe only problem is that in order to fully enjoy the game, you need to invest in a couple of 6-button pads. Apart from that it's full marks all round.

Following the excellent PCE version, the MD port became the best SFII around: playable bosses, multiple 'turbo' speed settings, and a really loosened control system, making for easy special moves and combos. The only flaw lies in the comparatively grinding sound effects.

The X68000 gets itself a massive SFII package, featuring the entire game spread out over 5 floppy disks.
Also includes 20-page monochrome booklet, and a custom 'Capcom Power Stick Fighter' adaptor (CPA-001) that allows both the SFC and MD joysticks to be used on PCs (X68000 and FM Towns).
