It's all over for the Sonic series: after the mediocre Sonic Heroes (2003), Sega's mascot is now officially deadlocked in a vicious circle of simplistic gameplay, repetitive 3D environments and corny cut scenes.
The different 'Hero', 'Dark' or 'Normal' routes and various weaponry add a little variety, but it's still a very hollow production that will bore anyone over the age of 14.
