What happened? This one could -and should- have been a lot better than this. Cardboard FC packaging, 1MBit cartridge, monochrome booklet.

RAINBOW ISLANDS EXTRA MEGA DRIVE Format Mega Drive Released 5 Oct 1990 Publisher Taito Product Code T-11073 Size (cm) 17.8 x 12.8 x 2.5 Weight (kg) 0.18 Price £30 - €45 - $60 Relatively rare Mega Drive port of the game that also includes the arcade 'Extra Version'. A great version, sadly never released in Western markets. Taito-stamped MD case, 4MBit cartridge, 18-page colour booklet.

RAINBOW ISLANDS PC ENGINE CD-Rom² Format PC Engine Released 30 June 1993 Publisher NEC Avenue Product Code NAPR-1012 Size (cm) 14.2 x 12.4 x 1 Weight (kg) 0.10 Price £45 - €67.50 - $90 The PC Engine was delayed for close to 2 years, and by the time it arrived in 1993 it was hard to make much of an impact with a 1987 arcade game. Still, it's a great port that has gained a lot of value. CD case, PC Engine CD-Rom² disc, colour booklet, spine card.
