Namco
need little introduction - they are, for lack of a better
word, the father of the modern-day videogame. From Pac-Man
to Pole Position, Galaxian to Xevious, Ridge Racer to
Tekken... They have created, pioneered and produced
such a large proportion of the medium that it is hard
to summarise their contribution in nothing but a few
sentences.
It goes without saying that Jap-Sai is going to try
and do them justice, with an extensive article that
covers their history, output and influence on the industry
as a whole. Hopefully it'll be finished soon - in the
interim we have attempted to present as complete an
arcade and home release list as possible; and of course
include a small selection of Namco-related goods available
for purchase.
