As 2-player split-screen action games go, Sega's Bonanza Bros isn't a bad effort at all. It's great fun in fact, very reminiscent of Spy vs Spy (1984) and just as hilarious when 2 people are involved. Just don't play it alone. Standard MD case, 4Mbit cartridge, colour manual.

Interestingly, the PC Engine version of Sega's Bonanza Bros. is even better than the MD: the visuals are more colourful, the gameplay is smoother, and the jazzy CD soundtrack spruces thing up nicely. It has also become a very expensive title in good condition w/ spine card. CD case, Super CD-ROM² disc, colour booklet, spine card.

Vol.6 of the Sega Ages 2500 series brings back all three of Sega's 'ray-traced' games of the nineties: - Bonanza Bros. (1990) - Tant-R (1992) - Ichidant-R (1994) All three come highly recommended, but only as multiplayer games! PS2 case, PlayStation 2 DVD-ROM disc, colour manual.
